The disconnect between public and private markets got wider in 2015, as IPO activity and proceeds fell while private tech startups continued to raise money at rich valuations. Experts expect things to get tougher on the private side in 2016, which may drive more of Silicon Valley’s unicorns onto the public market. These companies, some of which have already filed offering documents with the SEC, are among those that could be part of the coming year’s crop of new stocks.
